My Story Now Intersects with Yours

I still vividly recall my days as a young art student, filled with dreams and the naive belief that being an artist was all about creating in the studio, with everything else falling into place.

However, after earning my MFA in Chicago, reality quickly set in. To make ends meet, I took a full-time job in marketing and design, which sapped my energy and left little room for art. Discontent with the minimal artwork I managed on weekends, I knew something had to change.

After heartfelt discussions with my wife, we decided it was time for a complete turnaround—to learn how to truly succeed as an artist and to dedicate ourselves seriously to this pursuit. The path wasn't easy; it was filled with sleepless nights, numerous challenges, and continuous struggle, but it led to significant milestones. In 2004, I opened 33 Contemporary Gallery. By 2010, I was the curator at the Zhou B Art Center in Chicago, collaborating with both emerging and internationally renowned artists.

From a career in marketing and design, I moved to teaching at the college level for 13 years, eventually leaving a secure educational career to dedicate all my time to my gallery and personal art projects. In 2015, Dr. Yanina and I realized that to make a meaningful impact, we needed to give back from the wealth of knowledge and experience we had accumulated. This was the genesis of the ArtNXTlevel® program.

This initiative is more than just educational; it's a vibrant, international community of hardworking artists supporting and uplifting each other. We operate on a philosophy of abundance, believing that when one of us wins, we all win. We are artists on a mission, and now, at this pivotal moment, your path has crossed with mine.
